The clock works with weights and pulses as the number of hours once at halves and as the number of hours twice with one minute intervals twice at fulls.The clock dial is place in a way that it is seen from the entire city.The tower of the clock which is winded twice a week is placed on reefs and has a prismatic shape and is 12 meters long.The tower is accessible through 8-step ladder at the back.There is a barred balcony on the second section of the tower, which consists of three sections placed on top of each other. There is a dome on top of these three sections. The upper section, which has a keyhole shape, is covered with a flat roof. There is a lightning conductor on top.
Restoration and lighting works were completed in 2015 under the leadership of Hamid Yüzügüllü, the Mayor of Sivrihisar. The tower which gained a unique night view thanks to lighting works is admired by all viewers.
